The interest of the Ottoman Empire in the Western world began in the first decade of the century and continued into the century. This is especially true in the regions of Sultan Mahmud IInd, Sultan Abdulmecid, Sultan Abdulaziz, and Sultan Abdulhamid IInd. The most important factor of the path of bringing Western philosophy into the Ottoman Empire was French Enlightment. It can be said that Ottoman Tanzimat was built up because of the effects of French Enlightment and its reforms. In the Ottoman Tanzimat period, Ottoman Architecture was also affected by French Enlightment symbols. Thus, the paper will not only give an historical summary of Ottoman Tanzimat under the effects of French Enlightment and reforms and enlightment symbols on Ottoman Architecture, but will also show the bridge between mathematics and these enlightment symbols.
